When Mikael Ingvarsson started as Cash Manager at the service management company Coor in October 2008, he was faced with an empty desk. Not because the previous person had tidied up so nicely, but because the desk was new. Quite simply, nobody had ever worked specifically within this area before. The circumstances were that Cinven Ltd made public its acquisition of Coor Service Management in the autumn of 2007. The new ownership structure brought about a new financing situation and stricter requirements for forecasting cash flows, which resulted in Mikael being given the task of filling the desk and creating new routines.

During 2010 OpusCapita will be introducing a number of new items within Liquidity Management. The first release which includes a SaaS solution will be made available in March. Before the end of the year the first steps towards a completely web-based system will have been taken. "It is very important that we listen to the users' needs to be able to prioritize correctly when we develop the system."

OpusCapita continues to register successes in Scandinavia. The most recent company to invest in a new Treasury Management solution is Sveafastigheter, a private equity firm specialising in property. In May 2008 OpusCapita entered into a collaboration with IT2 Treasury Solutions, which enables the company to offer the IT2 Treasury Management System to clients in Sweden and Finland.
