Exciting year for Liquidity Management
During 2010 OpusCapita will be introducing a number of new items within Liquidity Management. The first release which includes a SaaS solution will be made available in March. Before the end of the year the first steps towards a completely web-based system will have been taken.
"It is very important that we listen to the users' needs to be able to prioritize correctly when we develop the system."
Jouni Kirjola is the product manager for OpusCapita Liquidity Management. His role includes both marketing and system sales, but most of all he has the important task of listening to the users.
"I make sure that our Research and Development department receive the necessary feedback from the customers."
Liquidity Management as SaaS
OpusCapita is in the middle of launching this year's first release (2010 R1) which will be made available in March. The most important new item will be the possibility of using Liquidity Management as SaaS.
"All Scandinavian users will be able to use the SaaS solution."
OpusCapita already offers the service Invoice Management as SaaS. Outsourcing the system means less user maintenance. Because the system will be placed in a separate service centre which will take care of backup, the risk of operational disturbances will be reduced.
"The SaaS system itself will be intact with the same functions and interface. The difference will be that the total cost will be less as the user will not have to invest in hardware or operator costs.”
A web-based system this autumn
This autumn another release will be made available (2010 R2). Then the aim is to launch a Liquidity Management system which is partly web-based. This will be carried out successively, but we will begin during the autumn when the technology for the unit entry functions will be in place.
"The advantages of a web-based system are many and users will definitely notice them. Yet again we have listened to our customers and developed a system based on their requests.”
Five advantages with SaaS
- Flexible system which can be expanded when required
- Saves valuable time for the user
- Accessible round the clock
- High level of security and fewer risks
- Same cost each month
